Established in 1850 by Thomas Pickett, Picketts & Pursers are understandably proud of a splendid and truly unique trading heritage as one of Hampshire’s longest established family firms of jewellers, goldsmiths, silversmiths, watchmakers and fine china & glassware retailers.

Today Picketts and Pursers are situated at the head of Rams Walk in Petersfield. Our showrooms house wonderfully diverse and exciting collections of fine jewellery, silver, watches and clocks, with designs to suit every taste, with excellence of workmanship and quality being our criteria of choice.

Walking into the showrooms of Picketts & Pursers has often been likened to stepping back in time. Whether simply having a new watch battery fitted or selecting from our finest diamonds you may be assured of a welcoming and friendly service.

Our experience, knowledge and variety of merchandise have made us one of the country’s leading independent jewellers. Picketts & Pursers put huge emphasis on investing to ensure that their 20 members of staff undergo sufficient training to offer the highest levels of customer service. All the sales team have trade qualifications with either jewellery or gemmology diplomas with some qualified with higher management distinctions.

We not only specialise in diamonds and coloured gemstones, but also in pre-owned jewellery. Our trade connections built up over many years have enabled us to supply the most unusual of requests including many bespoke commissions in our own workshops for the rich and famous.

Apart from our extensive ranges of gem set and plain jewellery in gold and silver, we merchandise many top watch agencies, clocks, silver and high-class gifts for every occasion.
